Sylvidres

Most people know that japanese animation describes reptilians a lot. Just think of the popular Dragon Ball.

But there is a particular japananime that has been extremely popular in France (and still is), and in other French speaking areas.

That japananime is Captain Harlock, in French he is called Albator. Most of the videos tapes of that japananime are available only in French and in Japanese.

Albator is a space pirate, he wants to defend the Earth from the invasion of "Sylvidres". These "Sylvidres" are "shape shifting" and they want to take control of the Earth.

The governement of the Earth is against Albator (Captain Harlock), and does not take the danger of the Sylvidres seriously.

Albator finally delivers the Earth from the Sylvidres.

Every person of my age (30) in France and in Quebec saw that japananime.

I wonder why they do not show it anymore on TV....
